I'm excited to finally have my own site up and running! I'm not a techie person so it took me much longer than I expected. Everything from photographing my work, editing it, formatting it and deciding how to classify my work in a wide range of mediums took a concentrated effort on my part. The digital world does not come intuitively to me since I like handling physical objects and using my hands, not clicking a million different places! I plan on adding a lot more images and getting the shop running within the nearest weeks.

In the meantime, I just settled into my studio at Queens College and am working on large abstract pieces for a continuation of the Tree Remnants Series. Working on the large detailed pieces of this series allows me to put in an obsessive kind of detail while also serving as a kind of meditation. It calms my mind and stretches it new ways. Whenever I observe complex abstract forms and repetitive textures, I feel like a gap opens up into the infinite and timeless.
